Naas County Kildare
Warm and Contemporary. The Latest Bathroom Renovation in Naas, County Kildare
Every bathroom we renovate tells a story. In Naas, this client wanted to turn a dated family bathroom into a space that felt welcoming and modern. The original room was functional but plain, with no standout features.
Our brief was to introduce warmth (the client opted for the orange, cream palette) and personality without sacrificing practicality, all while keeping the room easy to clean and comfortable for daily use, something increasingly important for busy households across County Kildare.
The Vision
From the first meeting, it was clear the homeowners were drawn to warmer hues and tactile finishes. They loved the idea of a statement wall and wanted to pair it with neutral surfaces to keep the room feeling light.
Some storage, a reliable shower screen, and updated fixtures were also on their wish list. Essentially, they wanted a bathroom that looked as good as it felt, with a design that wouldn’t date quickly while keeping their colour palette preference at it centre.
Our Approach
We started by stripping the room back to its bare bones and rethinking the layout. To anchor the space, we chose neutral terrazzo‑style tiles for the main walls, giving a clean, speckled backdrop.
The standout feature is the warm herringbone wall tile in a muted pink/terracotta tone, which sits behind the bath and adds a sense of craft and warmth. We paired this with a frosted glass shower screen that keeps the room feeling open but provides privacy.
Renovation Process
For the vanity, we installed a wall‑hung unit in a soft blue‑grey finish with clean black handles and a crisp white basin. A slim black mixer tap ties into the modern palette.
Above, an LED‑lit mirror casts a soft glow and doubles as task lighting, while on the opposite wall a white heated towel rail adds both functionality and visual contrast. Throughout, we made sure to include discreet storage so toiletries stay hidden, keeping the look streamlined.
The Result
The finished bathroom balances modern lines with a cosy feel. The pink herringbone tile brings warmth and texture, the terrazzo walls keep things bright, and the black fittings add a contemporary edge.
It’s a comfortable, family‑friendly bathroom that doesn’t look like everyone else’s, which is exactly what our client wanted. The result is a standout space that blends personality with practicality, something not always found in larger showroom‑driven renovations.
