A Contemporary Take on a Walk-in Shower in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4
Our Ballsbridge customer first approached us hoping to do more than simply update their outdated bathroom; they envisioned turning it into a tranquil, but practical sanctuary, this meant having a walk-in shower instead of a bath tub. The original plan was worn out and had antiquated finishes that didn’t suit their modern way of living.
The Brief
The request was clear: a modern bathroom renovation, more specifically aligning their needs with the existing layout in their beloved Ballsbridge semi-detached house. We’ve combined clean lines, large format tiles, and a sizable shower. The client wanted the space to feel bright and open, while still being durable, but not too commercial.
Our Approach
As experienced bathroom fitters in Dublin 4, we began by rethinking the layout and selecting a neutral tile palette without compromising their style and character. Large format porcelain, modern wall tiles were chosen to create a seamless finish.
To make the most efficient use of space, we mounted the sink on the wall and set up a modern shower with a glass screen. A backlit mirror and high-quality chrome fixtures give the space an air of sophistication, while we’ve contrasted the fittings, as were black.
The Renovation Process
We upgraded the plumbing in addition to the cosmetic work. The client’s demands were carefully considered at every stage, from the selection of grout colour to the installation of toilet pan, and adequate ventilation was put in place to prevent moisture buildup.
The Result
The finished bathroom is a sanctuary: clean, modern, and built to last. With its light design and durable finishes, this bathroom renovation in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 delivers exactly what the client envisioned: a stylish yet practical bathroom for next stage of their life.
